KC first took step on her social media accounts (twitter and instagram account) as she declared the passing and expressed her heartfelt grief for her late grandma.
For months, Elaine has had health struggles, with KC constantly posting photos of her visiting her ill grandmother.

“Complications eh, nagstart siya sa peptic ulcer tapos blood. Parang 100 bags ang nasalin na sa kanya so medyo maselan ‘yung condition niya ngayon.”
Cuneta-Gamboa was a former beauty queen and singer. She had two children, Cesar “Chet” Cuneta and Sharon Cuneta, from her marriage with former Pasay City mayor Pablo Cuneta. She was also the sister of veteran actress Helen Gamboa.
